Sat. June 4th - Art Alive

Here is where I put in a plug for an organization I have been involved with for a long time - the New Group @ the Albright-Knox. This Saturday, June 4th, the New Group will be holding its annual, and very popular, Art Alive!!

Art Alive is a walking, talking, living tableau contest in which contestants create, through costumes and props, a living representation of their favorite work of art from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery or any other major art collection. This is a great event for the whole family, and best of all it is FREE!!

So bring everyone down to see the many tableaus and cheer on your favorite as they all compete for cash prizes in a great community event. Here are some entrants from last year's Art Alive and this year's details are below:

Saturday, June 4
Noon – 2 P.M.
Back of Albright-Knox Art Gallery Lawn facing Hoyt Lake
Awards Ceremony, 1:45 P.M.

Rain Date, Sunday, June 5
